Get Into the School Spirit at These On-Campus Sporting Events

As a member of evolve Bloomington’s stellar community, your proximity to campus means that you’re never far from some of the best collegiate sports contests out there. Your friends at evolve Bloomington have compiled a list of on-campus venues where you can cheer on your beloved Hoosiers teams to victory.

Wilkinson Hall

Take a short stroll down 17th, and you’ll find yourself at Wilkinson Hall, one of IU’s newest buildings and home of the IU women’s volleyball team. Wilkinson Hall seats 3,000 fans and is a comfortable venue for on-campus sporting events. This fall, you can watch the lady Hoosiers crush the competition all semester long. Tickets and schedules can be found here

IU Field Hockey Complex

If you stay on 17th, just beyond Wilkerson Hall, you’ll find yourself at the IU Field Hockey Complex – home of the IU women’s field hockey team. Games are free to attend, so it’s a great way to show your school spirit without denting your wallet. Check out the schedule here.

Bill Armstrong Stadium

Just north of the IU Field Hockey Complex are Bill Armstrong Stadium and the Jerry Yeagley Field, where you can watch the IU men’s and women’s soccer teams whip the competition. Holding over 6,000 fans and boasting a rich history that has seen national titles and World Cup qualifiers, Bill Armstrong Stadium is one of the nation’s premier collegiate soccer fields. As of this writing, only season tickets are available. Check out tickets and the IU soccer schedules here.

IU Championship Cross Country Course

With only two home invitational meets – September 16 and November 4 – there are only a couple of chances to cheer on our cross country Hoosiers this fall. The IU Championship Cross Country Course starts about three miles from your front door at the Ruth Lilly Auxiliary Library Facility.

Memorial Stadium

As a member of evolve Bloomington’s vibrant community, there’s a good chance that you can see Memorial Stadium – home to the IU football team – from your apartment window. Located right across N. Dunn Street, you’re just footsteps away from enjoying Hoosiers football all semester long. Grab your tickets today!

Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall

Indiana University and basketball go together like cream and crimson. And no fall semester is complete until you cheer hard and loud for the ladies and men who make up the pride of IU. Located right across from Memorial Stadium, Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall has seen three NCAA National Championships in its 50 years of existence, and it can’t wait for a fourth. So, grab some tickets and your IU gear, and be a part of one of the loudest crowds in NCAA basketball!
